End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement is a legal agreement between you and Clefira for the Clefira software application.

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

1. License grant

Clefira grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software on devices you own or control for personal, educational, or internal music-education purposes, subject to this agreement.

2. Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, sell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

3. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. Clefira retains all right, title, and interest in the software. Third-party assets included in the software are governed by their own licenses.

4. User data and cloud sync

Clefira stores practice and teacher/student data locally by default. If you opt in to cloud sync, data may be transmitted to and stored by the configured cloud provider. See the Privacy Policy for more details.

5. Updates

Clefira may make updates available. Updates may add, change, or remove features and may be required to continue using the software.

6. Termination

This agreement remains effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, stop using the software and delete all copies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clefira is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use arising out of or related to the software.
